The Thompson High School girls’ tennis team fell to Northridge 5-4 in high school tennis action Feb. 29.

The Warriors won two singles’ matches and two doubles’ matches against Northridge.

Laura Harwell of Thompson defeated Mary Caitlyn Whilhite of Northridge 10- 8 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Maria Siow of Thompson defeated Maria Parks of Northridge 10-5 in the No. 5 singles’ match.

Siow and Erin Hutter of Thompson defeated Brown and Hallie Young of Northridge 10-5 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Harwell and Victoria Killingsworth of Thompson defeated Wilhite and Marla Parks of Northridge 10-5 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Hutter fell to Melanie Brown of Northridge 10-1 in the No. 2 singles’ match. Killingsworth fell to Kathleen Kennedy of Northridge 11-10 (7-3) in the No. 3 singles’ match.

Olivia Sorrell of Thompson fell to Anna Lauren Killian of Northridge 10-5 in the No. 4 singles’ match. Anna Conn of Thompson fell to Julie Kim of Northridge 10-1 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Sorrell and Conn fell to Kennedy and Logan Anderson of Northridge 10-3 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
