The Chelsea High School softball team defeated Hewitt-Trussville 10-0 in high school softball action Feb. 23.

Alex Osborn led the Hornets (1-0) at the plate as she finished 3-for-4 and drove in three runs in the victory.

Caitlin Bice went 3-for-3 at the plate and drove in one run. Allie Luster finished 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored.

Bice earned the win in the circle after giving up just two hits with eight strikeouts and two walks in a complete-game shutout.
