Five other Jaguars won individual matches on the first day.

Marcus Jackson of Spain Park was pinned by David Baumohl of Grissom in 3:22 in his 145-pound preliminary match before pinning Nick Taylor of Smiths Station in 2:31 in his consolation round match.

Kevin McClure of Spain Park was pinned by Nick Weldon of Clay-Chalkville in 5:58 in his 160-pound preliminary match before earning a 8-0 major decision over David Clark of Gadsden City  in his consolation round match.

Blake Daniel of Spain Park dropped a 8-0 major decision against Marcus Elkins of Hewitt-Trussville in his 170-pound preliminary match before earning a 3-1 decision over Connor McCall of Oxford in his consolation round match.

Kameron Ricks of Spain Park pinned Logan Skinner of Mountain Brook in 28 seconds in his 195-pound preliminary match before dropping a 11-7 decision to Rico Lewis of Opelika in his quarterfinal match.

Mo Mills of Spain Park dropped a 2-1 decision to T.J. Demos of Huntsville in his 220-pound preliminary match before pinning Braxton Busby of Hewitt-Trussville in 2:51 in his consolation round match.

Two Pelham wrestlers won individual matches on the opening day of the tournament.

Riley Pike of Pelham pinned Noah Jones of Clay-Chalkville in his 106-pound preliminary match before being pinned by John David Henderson of Grissom in his quarterfinal match.

Cody Wehunt of Pelham earned a 12-2 major decision over Kevin Elmore of Hewitt-Trussville in his 160-pound preliminary match before dropping a 4-3 decision to Killian Hoyt of Grissom in his quarterfinal match.
