The Vincent High School girls’ basketball team defeated Fultondale 42-40 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 tournament semifinal contest Feb. 9 at Altamont.

Vincent will face host Altamont in the Class 2A, Area 10 tournament championship game Feb. 11 at 1 p.m.

Brooklyn Jones led the Yellow Jackets (7-16) with 13 points in the victory.

Joy Tucker added 12 points. Pam Mann and Jasmine Banks chipped in six points.

Ambran Middleton finished with five points in the win.
