The Indian Springs School boys’ basketball team defeated Whitesburg Christian 66-51 in high school basketball action Jan. 24.

Jian Yu Chen led Indian Spirngs (9-8) with 17 points in the victory. Chen also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

Jun Hong added 14 points in the win.

GIRLS

The Indian Springs School girls’ basketball team fell to Whitesburg Christian 36-29 in high school basketball action Jan. 24.

Callie Leopard and Paula Simonetti led Indian Springs with 11 points each.
