The Vincent High School boys’ basketball team defeated Briarwood Christian 63-44 in high school basketball action Jan. 13.

Dontravious Moon led the Yellow Jackets (15-5) with 20 points in the victory. Moon also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in the win.

Tyler Williams and Damauntey Johnson added 12 points each.

Williams finished with a team-high five assists and four steals, while Johnson grabbed five rebounds in the win.

Jason Laatsch led Briarwood Christian (10-11) with 16 points. Raymond Woods added 13 points.

GIRLS

The Briarwood Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated Vincent 63-25 in high school basketball action Jan. 13.

Abbie Cutcliffe led the Lions (14-4) with 17 points in the victory.

Hannah Wainwright added 13 points. Sarah Outlaw chipped in 11 points.
