MONTEVALLO — The Chelsea High School girls’ basketball team defeated Vincent 58-21 in a consolation game Dec. 20 in the Shelby County basketball tournament at Bank Trust Arena on the University of Montevallo campus.

Amanda Mock led the Hornets (5-6) with 18 points in the victory.

Perri Lambert added 11 points. Nwando Anwah chipped in nine points. Tammy Trout contributed seven points.

Ashleigh Niven and Holly Marbut finished with five points each. Meghan Lanzi chipped in three points.

Arkel Kelley led Vincent (3-8) with six points.

Crisslyn Jones and Drienna Wallace added three points each.

Brianna McCrimon, Taj Youngblood and Joy Tucker finished with two points each.
