The Montevallo High School boys’ basketball team defeated Walker 56-52 in the Sipsey Valley Invitational tournament Dec. 10.

Korey Cunningham led the Bulldogs with 27 points in the victory.

Garrius Chappell added 14 points. Trevor Chatham contributed nine points.

GIRLS

The Montevallo High School girls’ basketball team fell to Sipsey Valley 54-32 in the Sipsey Valley Invitational tournament Dec. 10.

Myshael Thompson led the Bulldogs with 11 points.

Kiah Smith added 10 points. Miya Farrington contributed seven points.
