The Hope Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Evangel Family Christian Academy 80-41 in high school basketball action Dec. 8.

Pete Thomason led the Eagles with 12 points in the victory. Thomason also grabbed six rebounds and dished out two assists.

Seth Burnham finished with a double-double as he posted 11 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Brandon Fuller added eight points and two steals.

Josh Wells and Cameron Costa contributed four points each. Immanuel Drew chipped in two points and two rebounds.

Caleb Booker and Benjamin Bunn grabbed five rebounds each.

GIRLS

The Hope Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Evangel Family Christian Academy 47-43 in high school basketball action Dec. 8.

Leigh Wilson Legg led the Eagles with 16 points.

Christina Jones added seven points. Joelle Reed finished with six points. Karlee Tate and Brooke Machen chipped in five points each.

Rachel Rettig contributed two points. Davina Drew and Rachel Holmes finished with one point each.
