CHELSEA – Firefighters will escort Santa through Chelsea’s neighborhoods on Dec. 17 beginning at 1 p.m.

“Our crews like doing it because we like sharing the Christmas spirit,” Fire Chief Wayne Shirley said. “We see so much excitement everywhere we go.”

Here are the two routes, with street names and approximate arrival times.

South Pole route

Highway 69 and Highway 47 at church parking lot – 1 p.m.

Twelve Oaks in the cul-de-sac – 1:10 p.m.

Shelby Forest Road and Shelby Forest Trail – 1:30 p.m.

Shelby Forest Way and Shelby Forest Court – 1:45 p.m.

Woodbridge Trail and Woodbridge Drive – 2 p.m.
