The Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball team fell to Prattville Christian 85-70 in high school basketball action Dec. 2.

Daniel Fillingim led the Lions with 25 points in the loss. Fillingim also grabbed a team high 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Jared Stewart added 21 points and four rebounds. Andrew Whitfield chipped in 10 points. Jacob Bussey finished with six points and 11 boards.

Jordan Vance finished with four points and four rebounds. Charles Robinson and Josh Purvis contributed two points each.

GIRLS

The Kingwood Christian School girls’ basketball team fell to Prattville Christian 41-23 in high school basketball action Dec. 2.

Casey Whitmer led the Lions with 11 points in the loss. Whitmer also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Madelyn Pearce added five points and six boards. Blair Holsombeck finished with four points and five rebounds.

Katie Etheridge chipped in two points and eight boards. Karley Chamblee finished with one point and two rebounds.
