Falcons fall on the road at UAH

The University of Montevallo women’s basketball team traveled north to take on the University of Alabama in Huntsville and fell 77-67 to the Chargers in a non-conference game Nov. 30.
The Falcons (4-2) were led by freshman Taylor Beverly, who poured in 16 points. Montevallo led just one time during the game, early in the second half, but the Chargers used a late run to pull away for the 10-point victory.
Junior Zena Nasiloski chipped in 10 points, while senior Tiffany McClure added nine points. Seniors Davia Harris and Shavonne Seymore each had eight points.
The Falcons will return to action Saturday, Dec. 3 at 1:30 p.m. as they host Georgia Southwestern State University in Montevallo’s Peach Belt Conference opener.
