The Thompson High School wrestling team defeated Chelsea 60-12 in a dual meet Nov. 29.

The Warriors won four matches against Chelsea wrestlers and earned six forfeits in the victory.

Hunter Gatlin of Thompson pinned Austin Chadwick of Chelsea in the 138-pound match. Clint Milligan of Thompson pinned Michael Early of Chelsea in the 152-pound match.

Jonathan Berry of Thompson pinned Cody Garrard of Chelsea in the 160-pound match. Shane Evans of Thompson pinned Zakary Van Der Geest of Chelsea in the 170-pound match.

The Warriors’ Clay Anthony, Tyler Lacey, Luis Munoz, Levi Springer, Mike Thomas and Kolby Newton each won by forfeit.

Chelsea won two individual matches in the dual meet.

The Hornets’ Chandler Wood pinned Jackson Adelberg of Thompson in the 145-pound match. David Downard of Chelsea pinned T.J. Rayam of Thompson in the heavyweight match.
