Cornerstone Christian wraps up tournament with two wins

The Cornerstone Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated Eastwood Christian Academy and East Memorial Christian Academy in its final two games in a tournament Nov. 19 at Prattville Christian Academy.
The Chargers (2-1) defeated Eastwood Academy 67-56.
Hagan Joiner led Cornerstone Christian with 21 points, including four 3-pointers.
B.J. Smith added 16 points, while Demetrouse Conwell chipped in 10 points. Smith and Conwell finished with two 3-pointers each for the Chargers, who hit 11 3-pointers in the game.
Cornerstone Christian defeated East Memorial 61-31.
Kendall Moore led the Chargers with 18 points, including four 3-pointers.
Conwell, Smith and Joiner finished with nine points each.
Joiner and Moore were each named to the all-tournament team.
