-Burglary from the 2400 block of Inverness Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen were an HP laptop valued at $1,200, an acoustic guitar valued at $400, an acoustic guitar valued at $600 and a golf bag with clubs valued at $3,500.

Oct. 13

-Theft of property from the 4900 block of Highway 28 (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen were a heat pump valued at $5,000, scrap metal and a Covington planter valued at $1,000.

-Assault II from 380 McDowell Road (Shelby County Jail), Columbiana.

-Rape from the Meadowbrook Road area (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Community notification violation from the 400 block of Springs Avenue (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 1700 block of Shelby Springs Road (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen was a .22-caliber pistol valued at $200, starter checks, miscellaneosu clothing valued at $50, a 1997 Ford Escort driver side door frame valued at $500, 25 7.5mg Loratab pills and box springs valued at $20.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Sheila Point (residence, home), Shelby. Stolen was a green 1990 Ford Ranger with two fog lights mounted on the roll bar.

-Fraudulent use of debit card from the 1500 block of Southern Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 1600 block of Shoal Run Trail (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Harassing communications from the 0-100 block of August Road (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Criminal mischief from the gate at entrance to Mystic Valley View (highway, street), Sterrett. Damage valued at $1,000 was done to a metal automatic gate, damage valued at $500 was done to a wooden gate and damage valued at $50 was done to a metal mailbox.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Perkins Landing Road (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Domestic investigation from the 5100 block of Highway 47, Shelby.

-Suicide attempt from the 2800 block of Highway 25 (residence, home), Wilton.

-Criminal mischief from the 1700 block of Shelby Springs Road (residence, home), Columbiana.

Oct. 14

-Sex offender registration violation from the 8300 block of Highway 51 (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Theft of property from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road (school, college). Stolen was a black North Face jacket valued at $375 and an I-Pod touch 32G valued at $300.

-Theft of property from 16077 U.S. 280 (Walmart), Chelsea. Stolen were a phone valued at $229.88, a phone valued at $149.98, a receiver valued at $300, a Garmin GPS unit valued at $199, a WiFi 32GB I-Pad valued at $599 and an I-Pad charger valued at $29.

-Property damage from the 4900 block of Appaloosa Trail (residence, home), Birmingham. A chain link fence was damaged.

-Death investigation from the 1100 block of Mountainwood Lane (residence, home), Hoover.

-Harassment from the 700 block of Highway 71 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Theft of property from 14569 U.S. 280 (Adding Space). Stolen were three boxes of assorted items.

-Domestic violence III – harassment from the 700 block of Highway 71 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Possession of marijuana from U.S. 280 at Highway 47 (highway, street), Chelsea. Recovered were a green leafy substance believed to marijuana and a pipe.

-Domestic violence – assault III from the 700 block of Highway 71 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Overdose from the 300 block of Snow Drive (residence, home), Saginaw.

Oct. 15

-Property damage from the corner of Heath Drive and Cambrian Way (highway, street), Birmingham. Damage was done to a white 2007 Dodge Nitro.

-Miscellaneous information from the 500 block of Thornberry Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. A garage door was damaged.

-Death investigation from the 500 block of Parkside Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Death investigation from the 3400 block of Highway 26 (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Domestic violence – assault from the 100 block of Quail Run Circle (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Promoting prison contraband from the 300 block of McDow Road (jail, prison), Columbiana. Recovered was the finger tip of a latex glove filled with tobacco.

-Death investigation from green No. 1 at Eagle Point Golf Course (field, woods).

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 500 block of Stonecrest Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Domestic investigation from the 11000 block of Highway 61 (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Theft of property from 5499 U.S. 280 at Edwards Chevrolet (specialty store). A giant pink inflatable elephant was stolen.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from Little Creek Circle (residence, home), Chelsea. Recovered were a white powder believed to be heroin, a spoon with residue, a razor blade, two syringes, a sock used as a tourniquet and a wrapper.

Oct. 16

-Community notification violation from the 1500 block of 1st Street N. (hotel, motel), Alabaster.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Hollybrook Road (storage facility), Columbiana. Stolen were a Chicago band saw valued at $165, a DeWalt hand grinder valued at $65, an Airstream impact wrench valued at $165, a Black & Decker jump start/inflator valued at $85, a Homelite weed-eater valued at $65, a Kobalt air compressor valued at $350 and an Earthquake auger valued at $300.

-Burglary from the 9000 block of Highway 51 (residence, home), Sterrett. Stolen and recovered were a ladder and come-along tool.

-Failure to comply with sex offender registration act from the Chelsea Park subdivision at the water tower (other, unknown), Chelsea.

-Theft of property from the 11000 block of County Road 61 (other, unknown), Wilsonville. Stolen was a Moultrie game camera valued at $80.

Stolen were a 20-foot pulling chain valued at $550, a large set of lock plyers valued at $40, line wrenches valued at $25, a ratchet with sockets valued at $50, a large pipe wrench valued at $40, a hammer valued at $15 and a ratcheting wrench valued at $25.

-Burglary from the 4800 block of Chesapeake Circle (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was $160 in U.S. currency.

-Robbery and assault from Beaver Creek Road (highway, street), Columbiana. Stolen was an HTC Evo cell phone valued at $200.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from the 3700 block of Cumberland Trace (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen were a green windbreaker valued at $12, a make-up case valued at $15 and assorted pills.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Rich Drive (residence, home), Chelsea. Stolen were a Sharp 42-inch TV valued at $50, a JVC stereo with surround sound system valued at $20, assorted power and hand tools valued at $2,000, an HP 24-inch computer monitor valued at $150, an HP scanner/printer valued at $150 and a pair of size 13 Redwing steel toe boots valued at $200.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property from Farmington Road (residence, home), Harpersville. Stolen were checks valued at $1,300 and $1,000 in U.S. currency.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of County Road 414 (residence, home), Wilsonville. Stolen was $5,700 in U.S. currency.

-Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 4700 block of Highway 22 (residence, home), Montevallo. Recovered was a syringe with suspected Adderall.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of LB Road (field, woods), Pelham. Stolen was a hunting tree stand with cammo net seat valued at $300.

-Harassing communications and trespass warning from the 1500 block of Highway 13 (residence, home), Helena.

-Recovered stolen vehicle from the 17000 block of County Road 61 (residence, home), Wilsonville.
