The AWARE Senior Job Fair will be held Oct. 18 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pelham’s First Baptist Church Annex, located at 2867 Pelham Parkway.

AWARE stands for “Aging Workers Are Reliable Employees and is a nonprofit program of Positive Maturity, Inc., a United Way partner that helps individuals age 50 and older find employment.

In attendance will be businesses who are interested in hiring workers older than 50. The companies will have information and employment applications available.
