The Chelsea High School volleyball team defeated Hewitt-Trussville 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 25-11 in high school volleyball action Sept. 29.

Senior Samantha Colyer led the Hornets (21-9) with 13 kills in the victory. Colyer also recorded 21 digs.

Junior Holly Marbut posted eight kills and a team-high 23 digs. Sophomore Courtney Campbell contributed three service aces and a team-high 28 assists in the match.
