The Chelsea High School volleyball team swept Shelby County and Minor in high school volleyball action Sept. 20.

The Hornets defeated Shelby County 25-10, 27-25.

Samantha Colyer led Chelsea with five kills in the victory.

Alyson Long recorded a team-high six service aces. Sabrina Williams added four service aces.

Brooklyn Smitherman led the Hornets with a team-high six digs. Courtney Campbell registered a team-high 16 assists.

Chelsea defeated Minor 25-13, 25-23.

Holly Marbut led the Hornets with five kills in the victory.

Kacie Craft posted a team-high five service aces and seven digs. Emma Cotney also recorded seven digs.

Campbell registered a team-high nine assists.
