The Shelby County Law Enforcement Spouse Auxiliary Board held a launch celebration Sept. 17 to welcome new members, discuss future plans and announce elected officers.

Elected officers include President April Brand, First Vice President Marie Wathen, Second Vice President Jennifer Brand, Secretary Jennifer Richards, Treasurer Holly Stanley and Liaison Tyana Alexander.

The new officers took an oath to perform the duties of the auxiliary to ensure “no one in the family will ever be alone.”

“We just need a family of all of us together to support each other,” April Brand previously said. “It’s not just going to be to support each other during the bad times and hard times, but also the good times.”
