The Vincent High School volleyball team split a pair of matches with Talladega County Central and Fayetteville in high school volleyball action Sept. 6.

The Yellow Jackets defeated Talladega County Central 24-26, 25-12, 15-8 in their first match.

Junior Jessie Kimbrell led Vincent with eight kills in the victory. Kimbrell also recorded eight service aces.

Senior Courtney Holston finished with six kills and four service aces. Freshman Destanie Howard registered a team-high four assists.

Vincent fell to Fayetteville 10-25, 14-25 in its second match.

Kimbrell led the Yellow Jackets with five kills in the victory.
