The Oak Mountain High School volleyball team fell to Baker in the quarterfinals of the Bayside Academy Invitational on Sept. 3.

The Eagles (9-3) were eliminated from the tournament following a 25-13, 13-25, 15-9 loss to Baker.

Oak Mountain defeated Gulf Shores 25-17, 13-25, 15-13 in its first match of the tournament before topping St. James 25-13, 25-18 in its second match.

Sophomore Hannah Beach led Oak Mountain with 20 kills and 25 assists in the tournament. Senior Sara Goodwin registered a team-high 46 digs.
