The Thompson High School volleyball team fell to Hoover 17-25, 19-25, 15-25 in a Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 play Aug. 30.

Senior Jade Douglas recorded eight kills for the Warriors, who dropped to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in Class 6A, Area 10.

Kelsea Bivins added four kills and three blocks in the match. Senior Kasie Holcomb finished with a team-high four digs.

Sophomore Abby Kreuser recorded three blocks. Senior Sonia Acosta registered a team-high 15 assists in the match.
