The Calera High School volleyball team defeated Thorsby 25-17, 25-22, 25-15 in high school volleyball action Aug. 29.

A’Kia Harris led the Eagles (9-2) with 13 kills in the victory.

Kellie Rasmussen registered a team-high five service aces, nine digs and 22 assists in the match.

Elizabeth Rhinehart contributed eight digs. Amber Sherman finished with five digs.
