Tina and Ken Jacobs of Calera and Jim and Janice Blackmon of Wilsonville announce the marriage of their daughter, Channing Christina Blackmon of Calera, to Justin Wayne Perry of Columbiana.

The wedding took place in Fairhope on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at 11 a.m.

Channing is the granddaughter of Maxine and Jim Blackmon Sr. and Dot and John Tyminski. She is a senior at the University of Montevallo and will graduate next fall with a degree in speech pathology.

Justin is the son of Robert and Lisa Perry of Columbiana and the grandson of Joyce and Jesse Bryan and Freida Perry and the late Rex Perry. He is a 2011 graduate of Auburn University’s Samuel Ginn College of Engineering and is employed in Florida.

Bridal attendants were Matthew Blackmon and Ashley Gable. The maid of honor was Lauren Skelton. Bridesmen were Evan Hall and Kullen Williams.

Groom’s attendants were best man Charles Bryan and groomsmen Nicholas Wilbanks, Robert Justice, Brad Bohannon, Brian Platt and Zackary Finklea. Honor attendants were Jacklyn McGrady and Andrew Justice. Flower girls were twins Gracie and Olivia. Clergyman was the groom’s great uncle, Merlin Morris. The guitarist was Matthew Blackmon, twin brother of the bride. Asley Gable was the orator.

The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and will reside in Florida.
