The Briarwood Christian School volleyball team defeated Homewood 25-12, 25-15, 25-20 in high school volleyball action Aug. 23.

Senior Logan Nasworthy led the Lions (4-3) with 12 kills in the victory. Nasworthy added five digs and one service ace.

Freshman Lauren Palmer finished with six kills, two service aces and two digs. Senior Carly Cline, who had three digs and two service aces, and freshman Madison Chambers recorded one kill each.

Sophomore Hope Donohue finished with seven digs and two service aces. Junior Adeline Reiser finished with four digs and one service ace in the match.

Junior Lizzie Baumbach recorded a team-high four service aces in the victory.
