Ricky and Margaret Ruston of Columbiana are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Candice, to Brandon Bunn, son of Rodney and Alesia Bunn of Columbiana.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Milton and the late Jeanette Ruston of Columbiana and Bob and the late Rebecca Barriner of Missouri. She graduated from Shelby County High School in 2007. She then attended Huntingdon College and graduated with a bachelor of arts in chemistry.

The future groom is the grandson of Larry and Nancy Carraway of Calera, Howard and Maylene Bunn of Clanton and Wayne Jr. and Faye Bunn of Columbiana. He graduated from Shelby County High School in 2005. He currently attends the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is studying psychology. He is employed by Carmeuse Lime and Stone.

The wedding will take place Oct. 20, 2012.
