Harold and Martha Ann Alexander celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on June 12, 2011. They have lived in Harpersville since marrying and are members of Arkwright Baptist Church.

Harold is a retired employee of Kimberly Clark, but neither Harold nor Martha spend any time relaxing! Their house and garden look like the cover of Southern Living magazine. They have two children, Randy Alexander and Regina Alexander, and two grandchildren, Jason Alexander and Molly Alexander.
