COLUMBIANA – The Shelby County Commission this morning appointed Chad Scroggins to the county’s E-911 board.

Scroggins’ appointment is effective immediately, as current board member Robert Kelley’s term expires this month.

The commission also approved for County Manager Alex Dudchock, along with the county attorney and county engineer, to work out an agreement to allow the highway department to assist Bibb County, among other counties, with cleanup efforts from the April 27 storms and tornadoes.

There are at least seven roads in Bibb County in need of cleanup, Dudchock said.
