The Spain Park High School softball team was eliminated after picking up one win in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A North Central Region tournament May 14 following a 2-1 loss to Tuscaloosa County in a consolation bracket game at Liberty Park in Vestavia Hills.

Spain Park dropped its opening game to Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 6-5 before picking up an 18-1 win over Minor in its first consolation game.

Scott, Holmes, Ballew, Elizabeth Ballew and Camp finished with one single in the loss to Tuscaloosa County.

Haleigh Sisson took the loss in the circle.

Hannah Camp led the Jaguars with a two-run homer and a sacrifice fly RBI in the loss to Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa.

April Scott added an RBI single. Dekayla Sankey, Amanda Ballew, Caroline Holmes and Casey Craig finished with a single each.

Channing Haynes took the loss in the circle.

Sisson earned the win in the circle in the Jaguars’ 18-1 victory over Minor.
