The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated South Montgomery County Academy 9-4 in its final home game April 21.

Cody Wood led the Rebels (35-5) at the plate as he finished with three hits, including two doubles, and drove in one run.

Hunter Roe finished with two doubles and drove in one run. Garrett McMillan finished with a hit and drove in two runs. Saxon Grimes finished with two hits and drove in two runs. Myles Varner drove in one run.

Cody Wood earned the win on the mound after giving up just one hit in three innings. Ryan Batson allowed two hits in 2 1/3 innings.
