The Alabama Independent Schools Association playoffs will get underway April 28-29 with two Shelby County teams battling for the AISA Class 1A championship.

Coosa Valley Academy, the defending AISA Class 1A champions, will host South Montgomery County Academy in a best-of-three series in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs April 28-29.

The Rebels will host a doubleheader April 28 in Harpersville with 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. start times. The if-needed game will take place April 29.

Cornerstone Christian School will travel to Abbeville Christian Academy for a best-of-three series in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs.

The Chargers will play a doubleheader April 28 with 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. start times. The if-needed game is scheduled for April 29.
