The Pelham High School girls’ soccer team defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 5-0 in a Class 6A, Section 6 match April 21.

Cassie Shiflett and Jessica Bird led the Panthers (14-9 overall, 8-4 in Class 6A, Section 6) with two goals each in the victory.

Meagan Comer added one goal. Natalia Alcaino finished with two assists in the win.

Pelham goalkeeper Selina Delgadillo recorded four saves in the shutout.
