The Vincent High School softball team defeated Shades Mountain Christian School 15-11 in high school softball action April 18.

Courtney Barber led the Yellow Jackets at the plate as she finished with a double and drove in two runs.

Courtney Holston went 2-for-2 at the plate and drove in one run.

Holston earned the win in the circle after striking out seven batters in a complete game.
