The Pelham High School girls’ soccer team defeated Tuscaloosa County 4-1 in a Class 6A, Section 6 match April 19.

Jessica Bird led the Panthers (13-9 overall, 7-4 in Class 6A, Section 6) with two goals in the victory.

Natalia Alcaino and Ashley Gardner scored one goal each in the win.

Bird, Gardner, Cassie Shiflett and Selina Delgadillo finished with one assist each. Delgadillo finished with 12 saves in the victory.
