The Montevallo High School softball team defeated Jemison 13-11 in high school softball action April 6.

Montevallo finished with 10 hits in the victory.

Savannah Upton led the Bulldogs (11-5) with four hits and drove in the the go-ahead run in the sixth inning.

Mallory Anderson and Destiny Upton added two hits each.

Upton plated the game-winning run in the sixth inning. Addie Edwards crossed the plate on a wild pitch for the Bulldogs’ final run.
