The Vincent High School softball team fell to Ashville 18-10 in high school softball action March 29.

Courtney Holston led the Yellow Jackets at the plate as she finished 3-for-5 with a double.

Morgan O’Steen finished 3-for-5 with a double. Destanie Howard, who had a stolen base, went 2-for-5 and drove in three runs.

Holston pitched the first two innings. Courtney Barber struck out four batters in the final five innings.
