The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from March 18-24:
March 18
-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Highway 478, Leeds.
-Harassment from Lime Creek Circle, Chelsea.
-Domestic investigation from Berry Lane, Montevallo.
-Property damage from Highway 280 E. and Eagle Point Parkway, Birmingham. Damaged was the radiator of a 2000 BMW 323I.
-Drug paraphernalia from Highway 145 and County Road 42, Shelby. Recovered were two pipes.
-Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 from Hill House Lake Road, Leeds.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle from the 5500 block of Double Oak Lane, Birmingham. Stolen were a debit card, a credit card and a jewelry gift set valued at $5.
-Domestic violence – assault from the 100 block of Shannon Lane, Montevallo.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana from the Marathon station at Middle Street and Valley Street, Montevallo. Recovered was .1 grams of a leafy green vegetable matter in twisted corner of clear baggie.
-Identity theft from Legacy Credit Union (unknown what branch).
-Rape from the 3500 block of Buck Horn Cr., Birmingham.
-Theft of property from the 4000 block of Dead Hollow Road N., Harpersville. Stolen was an outdoor A/C unit valued at $2,000.
-Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old from the 7800 block of Highway 155, Montevallo.
March 19
-Theft of property from the 500 block of Highway 253, Montevallo. Stolen (and recovered the same day) was a 2008 blue Yamaha YZFR1 valued at $9,000.
-Death investigation from the 100 block of Old Highway 31, Alabaster.
-Identity theft from the 11000 block of Highway 55, Sterrett. A debit card was stolen.
-Domestic violence – assault from the 2200 block of Highway 31, Calera.
-Assault from the 200 block of Highland Lakes Drive, Birmingham.
-Property damage from Highway 280 at County Road 39, Chelsea. Damaged was a 2006 red Ford Focus.
-Leaving the scene of an accident from the 8100 block of Highway 155, Montevallo. Damaged was a tail light and bumper of a 1996 silver Honda Accord.
-Domestic violence – harassment from the 100 block of New Shelby Peninsula Road, Shelby.
-Theft of property from the 1900 block of Indian Lake Drive Suite 200 (parking lot/garage), Hoover. Stolen was a 2010 Tomberlin Electric Vehicle valued at $12,500 and a 2009 Load Trail 18X17 trailer valued at $4,450.
-Burglary from the 7200 block of Highway 10, Montevallo. Stolen was an HP Pavillion Media Center and 22-inch monitor valued at $1,000, a black VCR valued at $50, a plastic bowl containing more than $100 in quarters and rolled coins (pennies) valued at $10.
-Domestic violence – harassment from Lakeshore Drive, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation from the 4400 block of Chesapeake N., Birmingham.
March 20
-Theft of lost property II from the 1600 block of Highway 280, Chelsea. Stolen was a black wallet and its contents.
-Domestic violence – assault from Highway 30, Columbiana.
-Domestic violence – assault from the 8000 block of S. Main Street, Wilsonville.
-Theft of lost property from the 1700 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana. Stolen was a Southern Linc Radio valued at $150.
-Criminal mischief and domestic violence menacing from the 1700 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana. Damaged were five exterior windows valued at $1,000 and the rear windshield of a 2000 black Pontiac Grand Prix 4-door valued at $500.
-Death investigation from the 100 block of Birdsong Lane, Montevallo.
-Burglary from the 500 block of Highway 203, Montevallo. Stolen was a black Glock 23 .40 caliber pistol, $2,000 in cash and $200 in coins.
-Domestic violence – harassment from the 100 block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham.
-Domestic violence – assault from the 100 block of Brook Highland Lane, Birmingham.
-Miscellaneous information from the 5400 block of Highway 55, Columbiana.
-Domestic violence – harassment from the 2200 block of Lullwater Road, Hoover.
-Harassment from Highway 19 at Dry Valley Fire Department, Montevallo.
-Miscellaneous information from the 1500 block of County Road 39, Chelsea.
-Driving under the influence – alcohol from Highway 280 at Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham. Recovered was a Bersa .380 caliber pistol with magazine and holster.
-Minor in possession/consumption of alcoholic beverages from County Road 43 at Forest Lakes Boulevard, Sterrett. Destroyed were five 12-ounce cans of Natural Light beer.
-Domestic violence investigation from the 3200 block of Buck Horn Cove, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Sharpe Street, Sterrett.
-Miscellaneous information from the 5900 block of South Shades Crest Road, Bessemer.
-Miscellaneous information from the 7800 block of Highway 155, Montevallo.
-Fraudulent use of a credit card from Church of the Highlands, Irondale. Stolen were several credit cards.
-Criminal mischief from the 200 block of Shoal Run Trail, Birmingham. Damage of $200 was done when two right side tires were slashed.
-Theft of property from the 600 block of Highway 308, Shelby. Stolen was a tan 5-foot rotary tiller valued at $2,000.
-Death investigation from the 5000 block of Old 280, Westover.
March 21
-Domestic investigation from the 1400 block of Laurens Street, Hoover.
-Domestic violence – harassment from Hardy Lane, Vincent.
-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Eagle Hollow Drive, Birmingham. Stolen was a diamond ring valued at $500, a sapphire diamond ring valued at $800, a black Carole Lee necklace valued at $100, a sapphire necklace valued at $80, a Jabra Jawbone Bluetooth valued at $99 and an Olympus digital camera valued at $200.
-Juvenile runaway from Kings Ranch Drive, Chelsea.
-Burglary and theft of property from the 4100 block of Forest Lakes Road, Chelsea. Stolen was an HP laptop computer valued at $600, an Ipod Zoom valued at $80, a Sony digital camera valued at $300, Guitar Hero valued at $100, a Playstation 2 game console valued at $200, two blue Playstation controllers valued at $50 and three Guitar Hero games valued at $120.
-Fire investigation from the 3300 block of Highway 10, Montevallo. Damaged was a one story single family dwelling and contents of unknown value.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 100 block of Highway 219, Montevallo. Stolen was a leather wallet with Mexico ID card valued at $30, about 20 CDs of various Hispanic and American artists valued at $150 and a bottle of cologne valued at $20.
-Domestic violence – harassment from the 5800 block of Shades Crest, Bessemer.
-Domestic violence – harassment from the 30000 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville.
-Domestic violence – assault from the 0 block of Oak Lake Drive, Shelby.
-Miscellaneous information from the 0 block of Smyer Lake Road, Leeds.
-Criminal trespass and theft of property from the 0 block of Kings Ranch Drive, Wilsonville. Stolen was a $4 pack of Newport cigarettes and a $1 Bic lighter.
-Harassing communications from the 8600 block of Highway 10, Montevallo.
-Assault from the 5000 block of Wagon Trace, Birmingham.
-Criminal mischief from the 5600 block of Heatherbrook Parkway, Birmingham. Stolen a front windshield valued at $300 and four Ultra GT tires valued at $100.
-Theft of property from the 100 block of Buckton Road, Birmingham. Stolen was a “Beginning and Interim Algebra” valued at $179.25.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance from the 7000 block of Highway 47, Shelby. Recovered were 12 pink pills labeled “V 3600” – Hydrocodone and two white pills labeled “Endo 602” – Endocet.
-DUI – alcohol and unlawful carrying of a pistol without a permit from Shelby Street and Highway 10, Montevallo. Recovered was a black and brown revolver and .22 caliber bullets.
-Assault from the 100 block of Bluebird Lane, Shelby.
-Death investigation from County Road 26 and Shady Road, Columbiana.
-Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old from N. Main Street, Wilsonville.
-Damage to property from Eagle Ridge Drive at Eagle Lake Circle, Birmingham.
-Possession of marijuana 2nd from the 19000 block of Highway 145, Shelby. Recovered were marijuana seeds.
-Miscellaneous information from the 1700 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana.
March 22
-Death investigation from the 300 block of Old Lokey Ferry Road, Wilsonville.
-Domestic violence – harassment from the 1700 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana.
-Child in need of supervision and domestic violence from the 5000 block of Meadowbrook Road, Birmingham.
-Harassing communications and stalking from the 4500 block of Valleydale Road, Birmingham.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 5000 block of Cameron Road, Birmingham. Stolen was a purse and its contents.
-Theft of property by deception from the 2800 block of County Road 71, Shelby.
-Burglary from the 200 block of Mimosa Road, Leeds. Stolen was a black flat screen TV valued at $699, a 19-inch black flat screen TV valued at $199, a green generator valued at $250 and a pellet rifle valued at $120.
-Miscellaneous information from the 10000 block of Highway 11, Chelsea.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle and theft of property from the 200 block of Twin Oaks Way, Chelsea. Stolen was a orange and white Stihl pro trimmer valued at $279, a red Honda mower valued at $599, an orange and white Stihl hedger valued at $519, an orange and white Echo edger valued at $299, an 18-inch Husquvarna Model 450 chainsaw valued at $399, a Stihl blower valued at $499 and a Husquvarna hedger valued at $329.
-Criminal mischief from the 3600 block of Highway 22, Montevallo. Damaged was a 6-foot by 8-foot section of wooden fence valued at $20.
-Domestic investigation from the 3000 block of Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham.
-Miscellaneous information (suicide attempt) from the 1000 block of Fairbank Lane, Chelsea.
-Theft of property from the 0 block of West Lane, Westover. Stolen was a 2001 gray 4-door extended cab GMC Sierra, Westover.
-Reckless driving and attempting to allude from Highway 55 at the Woodland Village Mobile Home Park, Westover. Recovered was a “pinch hitter” marijuana pipe with residue and a 2001 gray 4-door extended cab GMC Sierra.
-Agency assistance from Cove Ct., Wilsonville.
-Harassing communications from the 31000 block of Highway 25, Wilsonville.
-Harassment from the 1700 block of Egg and Butter Road, Columbiana.
-Suicide from the 1400 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation from the 3500 block of Buck Horn Cove, Birmingham.
-Harassing communications from Huddle Drive, Birmingham.
March 23
-Unlawful carrying of a pistol without a permit from Highway 155 and Highway 113, Montevallo. Recovered was a Clerke .32 caliber revolver and .32 caliber lead ball ammunition.
-Property damage from the 3000 block of Highway 47, Shelby. Damage of $800 was done to the front driver’s side head light/hood of a 2005 blue Ford Taurus.
-Theft of property from the 2500 block of Richmond Road, Lexington, Ky. Stolen was a debit card.
-Miscellaneous information from the 300 block of Reed Creek Drive, Shelby.
-Domestic violence – assault from Cahaba Valley Trace, Birmingham.
-Missing person from Kings Home Drive, Chelsea.
-Possession of marijuana from the 0 block of Kings Ranch Road, Wilsonville. Recovered was 3.5 grams a green leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana.
-Property damage from an unknown location in either Shelby County or Jefferson County. Damaged was the rear bumper of a 1999 white Ford Mustang.
-Miscellaneous information from the intersection of Valleydale Road and Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation from the 4000 block of Highway 22, Montevallo.
-Criminal trespass from the 800 block of N. Horton Road, Wilsonville.
-Harassing communications from the 6800 block of Highway 71, Shelby.
-Burglary from the 0 block of Vick Drive, Wilsonville. Stolen was an orange Echo weed eater valued at $200, a Miller wire welder valued at $600 and a window to the shed valued at $200.
-Animal complaint from the 100 block of Lake Drive, Shelby.
-Fraudulent use of credit/debit card from an unknown address in Louisville, Ky. Stolen from the account was $1,312.49. Damaged was the rear windshield of a 2000 gold Jeep Grand Cherokee.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 2700 block of Buck Horn Cove, Birmingham. Damaged was the driver’s side window valued at $200; stolen was a JVC stereo valued at $200.
-Criminal mischief 3rd from the 6700 block of Whitetail Drive, Birmingham.
March 24
-Driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 25 at Highway 49, Wilsonville. Recovered was a glass pipe with ash residue.
-Domestic violence from the 5400 block of Highway 280 (hotel/motel), Birmingham.
