The Oak Mountain High School baseball team fell to Hoover 2-1 in a Class 6A, Area 10 contest March 29.

Heath Quinn led the Eagles (12-9 overall, 0-1 in Class 6A, Area 10) at the plate as he finished 1-for-3 with a double. Quinn drove in the Eagles’ lone run in the defeat.

Conner Pinegar finished 1-for-2 at the plate.

Jake Hubbard took the loss on the mound after giving up two earned runs on seven hits with 13 strikeouts and three walks in a complete game.
