The Montevallo High School softball team defeated Vincent 22-7 in high school softball action March 26.

The Bulldogs pounded out 20 hits, including nine in the fourth and final inning to pick up the win over the visiting Yellow Jackets.

Savannah Smith paced the Montevallo attack with four hits and six RBIs.

Destiny Upton and Bekah Fowler added three hits each. Mallory Anderson went 2-for-4 and blasted her third home run of the year, a grand slam in the fourth inning.

Savannah Upton went the distance in the circle for the win, giving up three hits and three walks while striking out three.
