The Vincent High School softball team defeated Holy Family 26-5 in high school softball action March 24.

Courtney Holston led the Yellow Jackets at the plate as she finished 5-for-5 with a triple, a double and three singles. Holston, the lead-off batter, also drove in two runs in the victory.

Tori Cato finished 3-for-4 with an inside-the-park home run and drove in four runs. Courtney Barber went 3-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs.

Holston earned the win on the circle after striking out four batters in two innings. Barber struck out two batters in the final inning in relief.
