The University of Montevallo women’s tennis team fell to West Alabama 9-0 in a match March 23.

The Falcons (3-15) dropped all six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches.

Freshman Kayla Hackett, a Chelsea graduate, led the Falcons with the most game wins as she fell 7-5, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match. Senior Calli Robinson picked up three wins in the No. 3 singles’ match, falling 6-1, 6-2. Freshman Yulia Shvetsova won two games in the No. 6 singles’ match, falling 6-1, 6-1.

Robinson and junior Helene Nordgreen fell 8-4 in the No. 1 doubles’ match to lead the doubles’ squads.
