The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated East Memorial Christian Academy 17-6 in high school baseball action March 24.

Coosa Valley racked up 13 hits in the win.

Myles Varner led the Rebels (22-3) at the plate as he finished with a home run and a double. Varner drove in four runs in the victory.

Stephen Cryer and Hunter Winslett finished with two hits each, including a double each, and drove in two runs apiece.

Hunter Roe and Landon Floyd finished with a hit and drove in two runs each. John Bullen added a hit and drove in a run. Saxon Grimes finished with a double.

Ryan Batson picked up his first win of the season on the mound after giving up one run in 1 1/3 innings.
