The Pelham High School softball team defeated Homewood 15-0 in high school softball action March 22.

Jessie Breland led the Panthers at the plate as she finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs and two runs scored.

Heather McGuirk finished 1-for-3 with a home run. McGuirk drove in two runs and scored one run in the victory. Kristian Foster, who drove in two runs and scored three runs, finished 1-for-1 with a double.

Caitlyn Sapp went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored. Jennifer Davis finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Mary Morgan Dramer and Lindsey Pyle scored two runs each. Kayla Watson and Erin Whitman, who drove in one run, scored one run each.

Davis earned the win in the circle after giving up three hits with six strikeouts in a four-inning complete game.
