The Chelsea High School softball team defeated Sylacauga 11-0 in high school softball action March 22.

Caitlin Bice led the Hornets at the plate as she finished 3-for-3 with a triple and a double. Bice drove in three runs and scored one run in the victory.

Kacie Craft went 2-for-3 with a double. Craft drove in two runs and scored one run. Allie Luster, who scored two runs and drove in one run, finished 2-for-3 with a double.

Bice picked up the win in the circle after striking out six batters and issuing two walks in three hitless innings. Alex Osborn gave up two walks and one hit in two innings in relief.
