The Spain Park High School baseball team defeated Lebanon High School (Tenn.) 11-0 in the Buccaneer Classic tournament March 16 to advance to the quarterfinals.

The Jaguars will face Tuscaloosa County in the quarterfinals March 17 at 9 a.m.

Nathan Brock and Colton Freeman each had a solo homer to lead the Jaguars, who improved to 16-6 overall.

Brock finished 1-for-2 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored. Freeman went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Paul Angel finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Marks Abernathy went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Carter White finished 1-for-3 and drove in a run. Mikey White went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Alex Close finished 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored.

Charlie McPherson (2-0) picked up the win on the mound after giving up only two hits with three strikeouts and two walks in a five-inning complete game.
