In January, students at Calera Elementary began participating in a new supplemental art program called Art Abilities. Every Tuesday until March, students will endeavor in exciting hands-on activities. Some of the goals of the program are to provide sensory adaptation while developing cognitive processes, fine-motor abilities, as well as social and behavioral skills. Calera Elementary School is one of the schools to be participating in the grant-funded program.
