The Vincent High School baseball team defeated Talladega County Central 19-2 in high school baseball action March 7.

Vincent scored nine runs in the second inning and 10 runs in the fourth inning in the victory.

Chase Howard led the Yellow Jackets at the plate as he finished 3-for-3 with a triple and two singles. Howard drove in four runs and scored four runs.

Daniel Hawkins finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Ben McKinney went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs.

Michael Gilham picked up the win on the mound after giving up two earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts and three walks in a complete game.
