The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team edged Hoover 45-42 in a Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 21.

Demarcus Threatt led the Warriors (16-8 overall, 4-0 in Class 6A, Area 10) with a game-high 18 points.

Threatt also dished out six assists in the victory.

GIRLS

The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team fell to Hoover 66-32 in a Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 21.

KaDeisha Stowes led the Warriors (9-10 overall, 1-3 in Class 6A, Area 10) with eight points.
