Ekklesia Coffee House in Chelsea celebrated its expansion with an open house offering free brewed coffee throughout the morning of Dec. 17. The expansion doubled the seating space, enabling the coffee house to be able to accommodate small group meetings and provides room to hang out and watch the new flat screen television or catch up on laptop work with its free Wi-Fi. A steady stream of loyal customers including Donald Shirley of COP, Maggie Glass of Chelsea Eye Care, Mike Cooley of COP and Stacy Walkup of the South Shelby Chamber of Commerce, who are pictured with owners Rachel and Casey Morris, came through the shop throughout the morning getting their favorite morning cup of java. Casey and Rachel Morris and their coffee house always offer wonderful service and a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
