Calera Elementary has a new, fun and exciting way for students to enjoy reading this year. The Page Turners book club is for second and third grade students who show a love for reading. Their teachers choose students and then their parents decide if it would be something for them to participate in. The group meets two times a month; once to discuss the book and the second to blog about it on the CES library home page. This allows the students to learn to discuss the literature that they have read independently.
